About Wedding - The Camping Trip

We had intended to camp where we had gotten engaged, near Todd Lake, but the campground was closed. Instead, we had an even better time free camping on the North River. We pitched our tent, put up the hammock, hung the wedding clothes in a tree, and called it home.

With the exception of calling the Inn where we were getting married once a day, we were pretty well cut off from civilization. We hiked to a nearby lake, cooked over the Coleman, and on the third day when we had a thunderstorm and some rain, we put up a tarp, built a fire just outside it, set up the lawn chairs, made hot chocolate, and spent the whole afternoon reading. It was great. (Don't worry, we had put the wedding clothes in the tent.)
